TITANIC’S BOW WHERE SOME ICONIC SCENES OF TITANIC MOVIE WERE SHOT, HAS BROKEN AND FALLEN TO THE SEA FLOOR
The iconic scene from the 1997 movie Titanic where Jack climbs up the “bow” of the ship’s main deck and proclaims, “I am the king of the world”, and where he held Rose in front of him, prompting her to say, “I am flying”, has broken off and fallen to the sea bed.

A recent expedition found RMS Titanic’s front silhouette to have dramatically changed. A 15 feet railing in the port side railing was found to be missing. A 3D scan revealed that it had broken and fallen to the seabed in one piece.
The latest expedition also found a 2 feet tall bronze statue of Roman Goddess Diana on the seabed, which was lost for decades after being briefly seen in 1986. This statue was amongst the number of artwork that adorned the area of the ship meant for the super-rich of those times. It sat on the mantelpiece in the first-class lounge. Earlier in April, a gold pocket watch recovered from the body of the richest man on Titanic, sold for a record-breaking amount of £1.175 million.
The ship sank on April 14th-15th, 1912 in the North Atlantic Ocean, approximately 600 kilometres southeast of Newfoundland, killing approximately 1500 passengers and crew on-board. The ‘rusticles’, covered shipwreck, sits about 12,500 feet down in the Atlantic.
RMS Titanic Inc., which reserves the sole right to salvage the items from the sunken ship, is leaving no stones unturned to ensure its preservation and as much documentation as possible before the ship completely collapses and is lost to nature’s elements.
